Was the reformation wrong?-- and the New Perspective on Paul

I believe this is one of the most important of all the shows that I have done with Backpack Radio.  This episode zeroes in on the New Perspective on Paul-- made popular within evangelical circles by N.T. Wright.  This broadcast will help you to better understand justification irrespective of the issues related to the New Perspective.  This is an episode you will want to download and listen to several times as the talking points are core to a proper understanding of the biblical Gospel.

Matisyahu and Dr. Michael Brown

 (Commercial-free episode!)

What a show!  If you have ever wondered if Jesus is truly the promised Messiah then you need to hear this episode of Redemption Radio (sponsored by Calvary Recovery Center).  Jeff Durbin interviews special guest Dr. Michael Brown.  Dr. Brown is an international speaker, author of over 20-books and has debated some of the most influential critics of Christianity (secular and rabbinic).  Dr. Brown recounts his experience as a drug-addict and talks about going from LSD to Phd.  This episode is one that needs to be shared.  You will be encouraged about the hope we have in Christ for freedom from addiction (and other things) as well as the clear testimony of Scripture showing that Jesus is truly the promised Messiah!  We also threw in a little Matisyahu just for kicks!

James White discusses suffering with Jeff Durbin on Redemption Radio

Here is a link to the radio program I did (Redemption Radio) with Dr. James White of Alpha and Omega Ministries (aomin.org).  James spoke on the issues of grief, suffering and trauma in the light of the sovereignty of God.  This is a wonderful episode where James helps us to have hope and to undergo healing through the Scriptures that point us to the God of all comfort.  This is a wonderful show to share with your friends, family or church that has struggled with or is currently struggling with issues related to suffering.  Please feel free to share this with everyone!

Interviewing Dr. James White on Redemption Radio!

Exciting news:  I'll be interviewing Dr. James White of Alpha and Omega ministries today for Calvary Addiction Recovery Center's show (Redemption Radio) on 1360 KPXQ's Christian station.  Dr. White is a well-known Christian scholar, debater, author and theologian.  If you haven't already you would be blessed by going to his website and digesting some wonderfully biblically-soaked, Christ-exalting teaching.     The radio-show will air this Saturday at 9AM.  You can listen to the show on the radio if you are in the Phoenix area or you can listen live here.  We will also be uploading the episode after it airs here.

Check the show out!  We are discussing the sovereignty of God in the midst of grief, trauma and suffering.

Redemption Radio!

I have recently been given the opportunity to host a radio-program for Calvary Addiction Recovery center in the greater Phoenix area.  The show airs on Saturday mornings on 1360 KPXQ.  You can go to redemptionradio.podbean.com if you miss any episodes.  Underneath this are the links for the first two-shows that I did.  I plan on having some pretty solid and well-known guests on.  Dr. James White of Alpha and Omega Ministries (aomin.org) has agreed to be on my next episode.  I'm so excited!  We are going to discuss how to minister to people who have been through tremendous loss and suffering.  This is sure to be a helpful and blessed show!  You can listen to Redemption Radio live on Saturday mornings at 9AM on KPXQ's website.

As we get closer to Dr. White's interview I'll update you!

3-things....

1.  I spoke about witnessing to Mormons at a gathering of small-groups tonight for Redemption Church in the east-valley.  I promised them I would post some links to some helpful stuff we did on Mormonism.  So, here you guys go:

http://www.youtube.com/user/Defendthefaithorg   --- this is a link to our youtube page with a lot of videos of us in dialogue and witnessing to Mormons, JW's and Atheists.

http://outofmormonism.libsyn.com/out-of-mormonism-jeff-durbin-part-1  -- here is part one of a radio-program I did called "Out of Mormonism".

http://outofmormonism.libsyn.com/out-of-mormonism-jeff-durbin-part-2   -- this is part-two.

That should be helpful enough for a start!

2.  We still have some items on our amazon wishlist that would be helpful to us.  We appreciate and are thankful for any help you feel led to give!  Remember when you order through our wishlist the items are sent directly to our ministry.  Here is the link--  http://www.amazon.com/gp/registry/wishlist/1O0AHGZDYMCCV

3.  Ministry has been crazy-busy-- and utterly amazing-- so I have not been able to complete the video response I posted about last.  It is underway.  I hope to have it up soon!

Thank you guys so much!  Thank you for your prayers!  Please continue to pray and give and join with us in this ministry.

Soli Deo Gloria!
