Reason Rally, Atheism, Magic underwear and Penn Jillette.

We've returned from the Reason Rally in D.C. where Apologia filmed for a documentary that is currently in production on Christian/Atheist dialogue. We've been posting some of the clips from our discussions on Youtube and we recorded an episode with Backpack Radio reporting what happened.

In these two-broadcasts of Redemption Radio, I interview Luke Pierson, Whitney Byrd and Joy Temby about what happened and we also play a clip and respond to an address to the Atheists at the Rally by none other than the super-talented Penn Jillette. Penn is an Atheist and these shows are a must hear!

Raw Footage of a Militant Atheist at the Reason Rally.

As many of you already know, we are in production of a documentary film called "Suppression" (working title). This is a documentary of Christian/Atheist dialogue as well as a training tool to equip Christians to reach the new-Atheists. We wanted to give you all a small sample- to whet your appetite- of some of the raw-footage.

In this clip, Luke and I chat with a man at the Reason Rally in Washington, D.C., who was pretty vocal when speaking to some other people. He was wearing a shirt that said, "Militant Atheist" and so we thought he would be a great interview. We hope you are blessed by this. Please be warned, there is offensive language on his shirt.

Atheist Dan Barker on Redemption Radio

Dan is a well-known anti-Theist and has written many books and engaged in many debates. We had Dan on the show to discuss his involvement in the upcoming Reason Rally event in Washington D.C.. Sye Ten Bruggencate from proofthatGodexists.org and Luke Pierson from Apologia Church also joined us.

We get into a discussion with Dan about why he as an Atheist (who believes that we are cosmically no more than ants or brocolli) would want to promote reason. Sye and I engage in a dialogue with Dan about whether or not his Atheism can give him a foundation for reason, morality and science.

Atheist Documentary- Will you help us make it?

As many of you already know, because of the gracious giving of God's people we are headed to the "Reason Rally" in Washington, D.C. at the end of this month. The Reason Rally is being billed as the largest gathering of Atheists in history. That sounds delicious. Yes. We're going. And we are thrilled for the opportunity to proclaim the Good-news!

We have some exciting news: We are planning on filming a documentary of our encounters and providing a video that Christians can use to get equipped to reach the new-Atheists with the Gospel! This is where we need your help (and we need it as quickly as you can give it!). With this very exciting plan for an unprecedented video (we plan on having some well-known scholars and scientists on the film as well)we have some additional costs that we need help with. We need to bring along someone who is a fantastic photographer to film so we will need help with their airfare, hotel and also some additional costs for the video equipment. We are keeping our costs at bare-bones level.

We need to raise the money for this outreach and for the film as soon as we can (the costs of the flights are rising daily). We are a small ministry that has very limited financial resources. But, God does big-things through this ministry- many of you can attest to that.

So here we go:
